Charlie Blitz whose real name is Charlton Channer, also known as “Jude,” is a singer-songwriter specializing in JamBace music. This genre was pioneered by OneLink Recordz which blends Jamaican Dancehall, Reggae, and HipHop.

Originally from Jamaica and Florida, and now residing in Georgia, Charlie’s unique musical style has been deeply influenced by his roots.

Early Career and Influences

Charlie Blitz’s early career influences come from his uncles Noel Channer and Patrick Channer.

Patrick Channer, who was Beres Hammond’s former manager, connected Charlie with the legendary artist in the early 1990s and taught him key points in songwriting and the music business.

Noel Channer, a music promoter, provided the initial support for Charlie’s growth in stage shows, putting him on performances with the likes of Luciano and Alton Ellis.

Growing up, Charlie was influenced by iconic artists like Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson, which shaped his unique musical style.

Live Performances

Over the years Charlie Blitz has been active in the live music circuit, making appearances at shows in Florida, New York, and Texas. He has performed opening acts for well-known performers like Beenie Man, Gyptian, and Tony Matterhorn.

Charlie Blitz has also done shows in Texas for Bronco Cash and his Nyam Cash promotion team, which made it possible for him to open up for Wayne Wonder, Baby Cham, Sanchez, Mavado, and Capleton.

Collaborations and Recordings

An original member of Adajor Entertainment and now affiliated with OneLink Recordz, Charlie Blitz has recorded several notable tracks. His collaborations include Dancehall DJ Dutch Rocka, singer-songwriter and producer Mr. Ryan J, rapper Lil’ Co, Janni C, and producer Black Water.

He has worked with Masterkat Productions on the “Reggae World Riddim” album, featuring tracks such as “One Kiss” (feat. Charlie Blitz & Dutch) in 2016, and “No Worries” on the “Reggae Land Riddim” album in 2015.

His latest album “Welcome the General (Shadowman Cut),” was released on October 28, 2022 and marks a major achievement in his musical career. This project further highlights his collaborative spirit by featuring contributions from Dutch Rocka and Janni C.
